Most Beautiful Places to Visit in Iceland
There are many places to explore around Iceland, the most beautiful places to travel with your friends and families, your loved one’s, colleagues.
– Golden Circle Route
The region immediately east of Reykjavik contains an intriguing sampling of Iceland’s unique attractions, including historic sites, quaint villages, geysers and waterfalls.
Multiple tour companies offer day-long excursions through the area along the roads and highways that are known collectively as the Golden Circle Route.
A tiny fishing village nestled within a sheltered cove in northern Iceland, Husavik is quickly earning a reputation as one of the best spots in Europe for whale watching.
The most common species spotted from the tour boats include minke, humpback and blue whales as well as white-beaked dolphin and harbor porpoise.
– Rekjadalur, Hveragerdi
Are you for adventure then take a short hike just outside of Hveragerði to the hot spring called Rekjadalur. Complete your hike with a soak in the hot spring, preferably with an Icelandic beer and under the midnight sun.
– Blue Lagoon
Blue Lagoon is a geothermal spa, filled with sea water. It is believed that this water has natural healing powers. The water consists of rich silica and minerals which is helpful for skin related problems. It offers luxury spa treatment and lava restaurant.
If you are a hiking enthusiast you will want to be sure to pack your hiking boots and spend a day exploring Landmannalaugar. By far my favorite place in Iceland, Landmannalaugar is a popular hiking destination offering several trails all with breathtaking scenery.
